Due to the coronavirus outbreak, how you contact us will be different at the moment. This is to limit face-to-face contact whenever possible and help stop the spread of coronavirus.
Your GP practice is open and if you need to see your GP, please ring us on 01702 216545.
Appointments are being delivered face-to-face, online and over the telephone. If you are asked to come into the surgery for a face-to-face appointment, please remember to wear a face covering. Measures are in place to keep you safe from infection during your visit to the surgery.
Please watch this informative video from NHS England on all the different ways you can access your GP surgery.
You can also call NHS 111. Please do not come to the surgery unless you have an
appointment or need to visit the dispensary.
There are also other ways to obtain medical advice or to access GP services detailed below.

OUR PRACTICE VISION STATEMENT
WE AIM TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY CARE FOR ALL OF OUR PATIENT POPULATION
The doctors and staff at Wakering Medical Centre in High Street Great Wakering are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
The practice has 3 partners: 1 male doctor and 2 female doctors, and 2 male salaried GP's plus 4 long-term sessional doctors. We also have four practice nurses, 1 health care assistant and 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
The practice operates an open list. Any patients moving into our practice area are entitled to register at the practice. The practice does not discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, social class, age, religion, sexual orientation or appearance, disability or medical condition.
Friends and Family Test
The Department of health have been using the Friends and Family test in hospitals as a satisfaction measure for sometime. This year Doctor's Surgeries have been asked to collect and publish information from their own patients for the first time. Please click on the "take our patient survey" button below to complete this short survey.
We usually close one afternoon each month for in-house training. Please see notice board at the entrance of the building for further information.
